Our Products

ActRx  has completed the development of its own proprietary product line in order to market the newly developed cures for all three types of malaria.  ActRx Limited has officially named the new product line ActRx, after the new ACT (Artemisinin Combination Therapy) protocol mandated by the WHO (World Health Organization) for the cure of malaria in 2007. ACT replaces previous quinine-based and other damaging and ineffective solutions in the battle against increasingly resistant strains of the malaria parasite. ACT is the only remedy that answers the WHO’s demand for complete elimination of the parasite in less than three days from the ActRx treatments that are easy to use, compliant formulas. Additionally, ACT achieves this result without any observable negative side effects and low or no short or long term toxicity.

The ActRx Adult Treatment is a simple package of multiple tablets taken orally over one to four days . Immediate results take effect within the first few hours after treatment. ActRx reduces the harsh symptoms of high fever and extreme flu-like manifestations and eliminates and therefore clears the malaria parasite from the bloodstream.  For babies and young children (who are at immediate mortal risk) there is a powder formula or an injectable formula (for comatose individuals and children), which is easily assimilated and immediately effective within hours.

The Worldwide Malaria Epidemic

A human being dies every 30 seconds from malaria. Estimates now suggest that more than 500 million people worldwide have the disease, making it the number one killer in the world today. Morbidity reports indicate that most of the malaria-diagnosed deaths occur with pregnant women and children. While the disease has reportedly been eradicated in the U.S., it continues to proliferate in tropical environments throughout the world, most prominently in Africa, Asia, Central and South America.

Artemisinin History

An extract of the Chinese Artemisia Annua plant has been used by the Chinese to treat fever for more than 2000 years. They began clinical tests on the plant during the active antibiotic era of the 1940s. After years of development and enhancement by the Chinese, Artemisinin was officially declared a treatment for malaria in the late 1960s. It was used in the Vietnam War to treat communist-backed Viet Cong soldiers in the war against the U.S. The strategic importance of the cure in this environment, partially explains the delayed knowledge of the cure and its availability in the Western hemisphere.

Malaria First Aid Kit

ActRx Limited has created a unique (patent-pending) Malaria First Aid Kit with all of the necessary cures and components such as rapid test kits, mosquito-insecticide infused nets, information and instructions and dosages for all ages for a family, or medical organization medicine formulary.  The company is working on completion of a free downloadable e-Learning course on the history, updates and relevant medical information about malaria. We also intend to develop a Physicians Medical Course, which will thoroughly cover all aspects of both diseases.

Rx Travel Kit

The company will also market and sell an RxTravel Kit, which will contain adult and infant ActRx dosages in addition to other basic travel medicines such as antibiotics, pain medicine, digestion aids and materials and medicines targeted and designed for international travelers.

ActRx Limited has already begun setting up both Exclusive and Non-exclusive Distributors in Malaria and Dengue active countries and will begin a major global public relations and advertising campaign to promote ActRx for the treatment of malaria in 2007.

ActRx Limited has also initiated plans for a foundation called Stamp Out Malaria Foundation, which is designed to raise funding for Malaria Family first aid kits freely given in rural areas where Malaria is decimating the population and its ability to survive medically and economically. The kit is designed to last a family of four for 1 year with both curative and preventative and educational products.  Foundation members believe that this one package is the KEY to success and that when 10’s of millions of these kits are actually delivered to rural communities infested with Malaria there will be a dramatic reduction and eventually clearing of this disease.
